New Harley-Davidson Pan America
Absolute success in the United States, the new Harley-Davidson Pan America does not stop in stock.
Introduced in the North American market by Harley-Davidson at the end of February, the new big trail was a big bet of the brand, which arrived in stores in May (still without launch in Brazil). According to a report in The Milwaukee Business Journal, the reports from the dealers were very positive: “the reception of customers is being amazing”, and the bikes are sold as soon as they arrive in the showroom.
The novelty features two Standard and Special configurations, with the difference of painting and standard equipment. It has a new engine called Revolution Max and an unprecedented chassis. The entry version weighs 242 kg and the Special 254 kg, the wheels are 19 inches and the front 17 inches..
The 1,252 cm³ twin cylinder is liquid-cooled, dual variable cam and four valves per cylinder, it delivers 152 hp of power at 9,000 rpm and 12.95 kfgm of torque at 6,750 rpm. It maintains the traditional V configuration, the transmission is made by chain and six-speed gearbox.
The bike also comes standard with a digital instrument panel with a 6.8-inch TFT touch-sensitive screen. Smartphone connectivity via Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, selectable driving modes (including off-road functions).
In the US, Pan America has prices starting at US$17,139 (R$89,496). Harley-Davidson has not yet confirmed the arrival of bigtrail in the Brazilian market: "We don't have details of launching in Brazil to share at this moment".Posted in: 05/31/2021
