Why did you decided to photographed for Bella Club?
I’ve always believed that female nudity must be seen as something natural. Since the antique times, feminine curves are exalted as a symbol for beauty, fertility, life conception. Based on that principle, I have never seen the female body as something vulgar, but as a synonym of beauty. That’s why I always felt like having my photos taken, in order to keep them for posterity.
My first shooting was made by a super friend called Ney Junior, and I loved the result. After that, I met the talented Alex Ribeiro, who also took great photos of me. He was the one who invited me to photograph for Bella Club.
In the beginning, the idea of having my photos taken for such a well-known website scared me a bit. But then after speaking to the staff and seeing the amazing, elegant work they do, I felt like becoming a part of it, too. After all, not being ashamed of your own body is also a way to empower women, it’s the same as yelling to the world that the body is mine, and I do whatever I feel like doing to it, and no one’s supposed to judge me. That’s an idea I’ve always defended.
How was the experience of being naked on set?
I laughed from start to end, the team was wonderful. We all had a great time working together, I was extremely comfortable.
Do you study?
I was a Psychology major at UFSC. The classes were great, I met wonderful people. But with time I decided it wasn’t exactly that what I wanted. After taking some Anatomy and Physiology classes, I fell for Medicine. That was when I decided to drop the major and focus on entering Med School.
Ten years from now, how do you imagine your live will be?
Ten years from now I imagine myself as a doctor, finishing my first residency. I would like to be married, too. I’ve always been very calm, and I have practically only dated since I was 18. Oh, I would also like to be a mother.
What’s your biggest fear?
I guess my biggest fear is not doing things, not doing the things I feel like doing and regretting about it later. I believe that everything in life, the good and the bad, are learning possibilities. But as we go through our experiences, giving up of something because you’re afraid to get hurt is something that really doesn’t exist for me. I was broken in several different occasions, disappointed, but in all those times I have always learned something new, I evolved as a human being, which made things worth it.
What do you enjoy doing when you have free time?
I like looking after myself, doing things I like. I sometimes spend ours watching movies, and sometimes I go out with my friends. I really respect my wishes at the moment.
Have you even been through any unpleasant situations with men?
As I’ve almost always been in serious relationships, I didn’t have many experiences. I’ve been single for one year now and never before I had spent so much time without somebody. But during this time I learned a lot about relationships.
What do men need to do to surprise you?
The person who surprises the most is that guy who’s gentle, caring and honest. That man who enjoys the moment, who knows how to respect your space. Knowing when to let go is a virtue. For me, time tells us who stays and who goes. So being in a hurry and forcing a situation is hardly the best option, and most of times can ruin a relationship.
How would you describe yourself?
My star sign is Cancer, ascending in Capricorn. I’m contradiction itself. People say I’m need, they usually say that I suffer a lot, that I cry when I miss someone, but I don’t think that’s real. My attitudes are the reflex of the other person’s attitudes. If the guy is nice to me, I’m nicer to him. But if the guy is a jerk, well he’d better be ready because I can be a thousand times worse. I have this incredible capacity of ignoring and pretending the person never existed. I know how to act cold, and I also know how to be sweet.
